Labor Day Sale

Well, tomorrow is September 1 and you know what that means!  The huge Labor Day Sale at The Antique Gallery of Houston.  Great Sales throughout the mall from Friday September 02 through Monday September 05.  There will be discounts offered in many of the booths.  Don't miss this big Sale.  There will also be a 1 day drawing for a $50.00 Antique gallery Gift Certificate on Saturday.  The costs of the tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00.

October is bringing loads of fun things to our mall.  Including a Chili Cook-off and an "Ask Our Experts" where our "in house experts" will value your items.  Check back for day and times!

Don't forget to stop by A.G.C.A.P.'s  August's Dealer of the Month's Booth located on Aisle 4 North Booth I-9 & I-10 as well as Booth J-10 on Aisle 1 South.  Here is a photo of an Antique English Railroad Bench that is located in Booth I-10.

OUR COMMERCIAL IS ON THE AIR!!

On Monday night, the Antique Gallery commercial aired for the first time during American Pickers.  It was awesome.  Hope this will bring some traffic into the mall.  Next airing will be on A & E during Storage Wars between 9:00 & 10:00 pm Wednesday night!  Then the same days and shows for the next 4 weeks.  We had a successful 1 day drawing on Saturday that will allow us to buy 1 more time slot. Thanks to Bob for working this event for us! We are looking for ways to raise money so we can air our commercial more and will also be glad to accept cash donations!

The Annie Sloan demo on Saturday was a huge success!  I tried to soak it all in, but there were so many people there, that I could not grasp everything.  So...........I am taking the mini workshop next Monday August 15th.  I tried to do a project on my own, but as you can tell from the photos below, I will greatly benefit from the workshop.  I think I may just need to do some more sanding to make it really look distressed.

Of course I still need to recover the seat!  This paint is very easy to work with.  My hubby is even going to give it a try!

IT'S AUGUST

Well, it's August and you know what that means.  Time to announce the new A.G.C.A.P. Featured Dealer of the Month.

This month it is Joe & Nita Mixon.  Joe and Nita have been a member of The Antique Gallery since 2007!  They have 3 booths.  They are located on Aisle 4 North Booths I-9 & I- 10.  The other booth is on Aisle 1 South Booth # J10.  Here is a look at the booth on Aisle 1 South.

They have lots of different goodies to look at including some one of a kind items.  Make sure you stop by and check them out.

This Saturday we will be selling tickets for a $100.00 Antique Gallery Gift Certificate.  The cost is $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00.  The drawing will be held this Saturday August 06 at 5:00 p.m..  You need not be present to win.

Also this Saturday there will be an "Annie Sloan" Chalk Paint demo from 11:00 a.m.  until 1:00 p.m.  If you have never seen anything that has been chalk painted, make sure you check it out.  The demo will be held on Aisle 1 South  Booth J5.  Hope to see you there.

O.K.  now for the commercial info.  Here are the tentative times and channel's, beginning Monday August 08, 2011!  These commercials will be aired on Comcast in the following areas 

          Cypress,          Humble/Atasocita,          Galleria Area

They will be shown on The History Channel on Monday nights between 8:00 p.m. & 10:00 p.m.  The commercial will be shown once during "American Pickers" and once during "Pawn Stars"  Also on Wednesday nights the commercial will be shown 1 time on A & E during "Storage Wars" between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.  These commercials will air for 4 weeks, and then we will decide where to advertise next.  We are also in the process of getting the T.V. in the dining area repaired and will be showing the commercial on it as well.
